The show debuted on September 10, 2016, winning the San Francisco Fringe Festival “Best of Fringe Award” 

In this one-man show, Vocque is adamant. Everybody has a story. Does there have to always be a ‘lesson to learn’? Or can you just…‘be’? This modern day jester shares his tale of love, heartache, whiskey, streaking, and what happens when you’ve  never learned when to shut up. 4/3, 4/4, 4/10 and 4/11 in the Afternoon session. Beautifully Grotesque - The Life of Valeska Gert Janet Collard

This is a solo dance piece based on the life of expressionist dancer,actor Valeska Gert of 1920's Berlin fame.  In this biographical dance theater piece, Janet Collard becomes the artist Valeska Gert, recreating some of her famous dances in her own costume designs. 4/3, 4/4, 4/10 and 4/11 in the Afternoon session. A Day at the Beach Jaye Lee Vocque

A beautiful day. A secluded beach. Two strangers. The end of the world approaching. What could go wrong? What could go right? From Jaye Lee Vocque, the writer who brought you SF & Nugget Fringe's “Best of” winner BASED ON ACTUAL EVENTS. This Dramedy explores what happens when a woman with stunted growth and a free spirit go through the five stages of grief. Questioning faith, the future, and how much alcohol does it take to forget your worries. 4/3, 4/4, 4/10 and 4/11 in the Afternoon session. 

Fear Of Speaking Jane Comer

Eight students of Jane's class "The Fear of Speaking" are due to present their finished speeches at a big recital. However, the students do not show up, due to...their fear of speaking. Feeling that her student's words should be heard, Jane presents the speeches herself, though, not having been able to read them ahead of time, she is often surprised by what they contain. 4/3, 4/4, 4/10 and 4/11 in the Afternoon session. Heather Tongring - Truth or Dare Productions

This troupe is an award winning ensemble of talented performers.  They all hail from the Northern Calif, mountains - and are debuting some classic - and neo-burlesque for the NorCal Fringe. 4/3 and 4/10 in the Evening session. And YouTube on demand. 

La Placita Arnold Anthony Schmidt

An eyewitness account of the 1931 La Placita riot- when US authorities harassed, arrested, and deported Mexicans and Mexican-Americans in the wake of the Great Depression. 4/3, 4/4, 4/10 and 4/11 in the Afternoon session. And YouTube on demand.  

Live from the Before Times Jori Phillips

Jori Phillips was born on a small rock in the Canadian Pacific. Now she gets her rocks off as an actor, comedian and artist in America. She has performed stand up comedy in all 50 states on the U.S. THEY Comedy Tour, and makes dolls in her free time.

Even though Jori is a prolific performer, honing her skill since the tender age of 6, she is most well known for making a dress from a thesaurus in 2013. 4/3 and  4/10 in the Evening session. And YouTube on demand. 

Migrant Mother Ken White

1 hour 50 min.

Who knew when photographer Dorthea Lange met migrant Florence Owen Thompson - it would lead to the single most iconic photograph of the era - capturing the plight of poor, displaced American for the Resettlement Administration.  4/4 and 4/11 in the Afternoon session. And YouTube on demand.  

Pirates, Mermaids, and the Girl Who Couldn’t Swim Arnold Anthony Schmidt

A feisty girl, 2 bumbling, dastardly pirates, and a greedy mermaid.  Add in a shipwreck, a kidnapping, and The Cave of Lost Socks.  What could go wrong ?  What could go right ?  4/3, 4/4, 4/10 and 4/11 in the Afternoon session. And YouTube on demand.  

Rambling Dierdre Von Derriere

Shane Scurvy Spears – Wet Wired for Weird

From award winning writer/performer Shane Scurvy Spears.  A delightfully acidic series of ill connected vignettes and passionate rants about kinky sex,  urban decay, trash culture and the true noir; collected and curated with only one rule.....no segues. 4/3 and  4/10 in the Evening session. Who Killed Sylvia Plath?

Poet Sylvia Plath returns to her burial place in West Yorkshire, England to view the fourth replacement of her tombstone. The previous ones have been defaced by feminists who chiseled off her married name, claiming it was Ted Hughes who caused Sylvia’s death. Did he?  Was her suicide at 30 a good career move?
